Cute ecard from my NSSSF

Rain!!!! What's that. We haven't had any for so long we are in a drought. Our grass is all almost brown. You can hear it crunching when you walk on it.

I'll gladly send you some of mine!! I'm so sick of it. I think we got around 4 inches over two days. It was that slow steady rain all weekend..sending some rain wishes your way!

All we have so far is that light misty rain this morning. Not hardly enough to get the soil wet. The children and I played out in it all morning. It has been so hot and dry here that we can't go outside except at around 8 am. There has been rain and storms all around us all day, but it seems to split apart and by-pass Pike county. DH and I have had to water the garden for almost a week now. Send some my way, too. Sandy

That was sweet of her! I miss being in the NSSSF..maybe next round I will join again. I'm with sandy and shannon here..we'd love to have some rain!! I heard yesterday that they are going to make us conserve water soon if we don't get some rain. We had some little storms here and there yesterday, but it they went around us! We did have a little rain this morning, but you can hardly tell!

That is awesome, Amanda! Like Linda C I'm also missing doing the NSSSF. I'm hoping to join next round too. It's so much fun finding things for your NSSF. I think that's my favorite part!
