Embellishment box??

I was just wondering the same thing Dorothy. I thought I was supposed to have it by now, but I haven't seen it. I'm the last one on the list.

I know I gave it to Andrea way back in April/May and am upset that she didn't hold up her end of the bargain.

I eMailed her the address to the next person as like I mentioned in my post I forgot to give the list too but then I mailed it to the next person on the list.

No disrespect to our newbees, but we really should reconsider letting the newbees participating in swaps and things as I know it is frustrating to wait and wait and wait for the Newbee to follow through.

I know because for the Secret Santa I never heard from her and she was a newbee. I have Andrea's telephone number if anyone wants to call her and see whats up.

Oh well, hopefully it will get mailed sooner rather than later.

Dorothy...I am not part of the embellishment box round 3 but from what I = can see Andrea has not posted to RCS since 2nd May. Kate passed EB to = Andrea the end April in person and Andrea had been emailed the address = of the next recipient (Amanda) as she had omitted the list from the EB = by accident.

Amanda posted on the 15th May that she was next on the list and waiting = patiently with the postal list Kate had sent ahead! No box had arrived = yet :(

I run a search of the group messages and I found a post from Deb dated = early June (7th I think) regarding the embellishment box's location. I = think it was basically asking Andrea to get in touch as Deb had left = messages by phone, as well as email. I have searched it out again and = have posted the content below:

Where oh where is the Embellishment Box? Last I saw here, Andrea had = it.=20 I've emailed Amanda, and she doesn't have it. Cathy R, I sent an email = to=20 you...hope I sent it to the right one...scrappingcathy AT yahoo DOT = com???=20 If not, Cathy R, I just need to know if you have it or not. You = shouldn't=20 since Amanda doesn't have it. LOL

Andrea, if you see this post, please email me or call me. I've left a=20 couple messages for you via phone, and emailed, but haven't heard from = you.=20 I really hope everything is okay.

Since Deb hasn't reposted I guess she is either very busy with life = and/or hasn't heard anything more :( As Deb says I hope that everything = is okay with Andrea. I did find a couple of posts were she was talking = of taking her DH to visit eye consultants in CT, regarding a = degenerative eye condition. His next appt. was said to be in June and = she has been doing all the driving and dealing with his appointments, = etc.=20 Take care, Marilyn

Well...I have not heard from Andrea or received the box yet. I know Deb was trying to get in touch with her before she left on vacation. I do hope that all is okay with her. Kate- can you send me her phone number? I will try to call and get in touch with her. I know it's frustrating when things falter, but we don't know the whole story with Andrea. I just hope it's a case of forgetfullness and not something more serious.

I can not participate in swap right now but when i do if i am allowing i promise to ship item on time i am very responible and organized.

I am sure you are Nicole. :) Every so often we have somebody who sits on something for whatever reason. It doesn't happen often and it is a little frustrating when it happens. More often than not there is a good reason, however it is obviously much better if the person can find a way to let us know what is going on.

Update!!! I got an email from Andrea over the weekend. She is sending the box on to me today. They've had a rough few weeks it seems with mixups on their phone lines, down computers, losing keys, and sewer backups. Everything seems to be going better now for her and DH. His eye appt was rescheduled since the records werent' transferred on time and the weather was pretty bad. She hasn't been able to get on the internet lately, so that's why we haven't heard from her.
