Tis the season to fire up the blender, mixer, and oven for scents of the season.

What kind of cookies or baked goods (that can travel of course LOL) do you love and promise that this heavenly piece of goody will be your last one, then put the dish into the dishwasher?

Mine are my mom's shortbread squares and her great-grandmother's scrabble (a type of prezel, nut dish).

sorry sarah was typing a hello

Ooh, yum!

I love snickerdoodles and the hersey's kisses cookies and tea cakes and, um, everything accept brownies, they're too dense for my tastes.

Snickerdoodles!!!!!That is the one and only that my children love and ask for. But I have a friend who begs for Magic Cookies. So there you go. HugsIrene

oh yum! I love just about any cookie... especially peanut butter, the hershey kiss ones, raisin oatmeal, oh heck.... anything... never met a dessert I did'nt like (except rubarb).. LOL

Boy oh boy how do I pick just one? My all time Christmas treat would be peanutbutter marshmellow squares! But my all time favorite anytime treat would be my Nanny's(grandma's) sandwich cookies!!!-yummy Barb:o)

I like anything with chocolate, but my all time favorite is the classic nestle toll house cookies...with or without the nuts!

Over here in SA, it is Summer time during X'mas. So all the deserts are mostly cool. Our favourite (always a hit) is Triffle with fresh cream and cherries. Each time you get a bowl, you swear it's the last one - until the next one! LOL

Our Christmas would not be complete with out our Swedish wedding cakes. Big favorite and next is the Peanutbutter blossoms followed closley by the M & M choclate chip nut cookie. This year I am making the mason jar cookie recipes for some of my special friends. I am going to start making them this week.

Hugs, Sabrina

My kids and I bake sugar cookies every year. We also like the ones with the stars in the middle. And the brownies baked in the mini muffin pans where you stick the reeses peanutbutter cups inside while they are warm. Sandy

You know, I had a second thought about this question. If I could have a piece of candy from anywhere else I would want a pecan praline from the Savannah Candy Kitchen. It's my first stop after the motel when I get to Savannah.

Until Maya was born, I didn't bake much, because DH doesn't celebrate Christmas, so usually, unless we visited family or friends, I didn't really do anything like I did growing up.

Now that Maya's 5 though, I'm starting to teach her how to bake and cook. :-) I love the Toll House Cookies, and I got a recipe years ago for an oatmeal/chocolate chip cookie/bar that's really good too. :-) Since DH's brother and his family are staying with us for Christmas I'm planning to pull all my old recipes out and get to work! They're from Australia and are looking forward to a 'traditional' American Christmas dinner!

Peanut butter fudge is my absolute favorite Christmas goodie! Christmas is my favorite time to bake, and I cant think of too much that I don't like! Cookies, cake,, brownies, bars,,,I tend to veer towards NON nut things, but I can handle them if they are small pieces...(I'm not allergic to them or anything) Of course anything chocolate or especially white chocolate! YUM

Ooooo....just one? Oh wait you did say "cookies or baked goods" which is plural!!! LOL Well, I always love baking sugar cookies this time of year, especially with the kids. But...I also like fudge (without nuts, please LOL). I like my chocolate unadulterated. Oh! The walnut bars my sister makes are mmm-mmm good! But I think my most favorite can't-eat-just-one is Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Balls. Yummy yummy yummy! (Can you tell I'm a chocoholic?)

For holiday treats I absolutely love peanut butter balls. I make peanut butter fudge but I haven't tried the pb balls yet. I'm also a sucker for brownies, no frosting though. Has anyone tried the peanut butter m&m's? Oh they're good. Hard to find though. Can you tell I like pb? lol Oddly enough. I don't care for Reese's cups. Go figure.

How about the PB eyeballs at Halloween? I wait all year for them!
