FINALLY!

I have finally put up some additional scrapbook pages that I had worked on. While they are still not up to y'all's level yet, I'm pretty pleased with them. Let me know what you think.

Hi down thar - Selena!!!

I love 'um and YOU are finely doun' sum!!! Just remember, WE ALL started out expierimenting, not knowing anything and we grew from there, looking at others, reading and JEST DOIN' IT!!

Also you are ALWAYS your own worst critic! I still like the primary colors, so all you need to do is try some PATTERENED paper!! Try it, You will like it!!

BTW, can Ya'll tell she is a TEACHER - LOL!

nada for 05 (unless redoing or adding to some pages counts!)

HEY!! The chalkboard eraser is not fair!!

Hey...I've used patterned paper (see my wedding album - although I do not yet have a picture of all the pages 12x12 is a lot harder to scan that 8 1/2 x 11)! And actually, I have all that wonderful paper you sent me and I have been eyeing it for some paper piecing I want to try (as soon as I figure out how the heck to do it!)

Your pages Selena are wonderful. I like them a lot. We are own worse critics. I'm always asking DH how does my LO's look forward I glue anything down. He usually says "your the crafty one not me" and some times he'll say that looks great without even looking. That bugs me. LOL! I have a friend who called last night that she said she'll like to find a hobby. Her and her DH husband maybe coming over Friday for Pizza so I may get her hooked. I hope so. Would be nice to have a scrap buddy around here.

Thank you for you comments, Chrissy. I know what you mean about not having a scrap buddy around. I think my closest would probably be the girls in Arkansas and that's several hours away!

Great pages Selena. It is obvious that teaching is an important part of your life. Thank you for shoosing to make the world a better place by teaching our kids.

I love teaching. I started it late in life (40), but I wouldn't do anything else now...even though it is very detrimental to my financial situation.

Great pages Selena. They are so bright and cheerful.

Say Selena WTG! I really like your LOs. I'm a Novice to Scrapbooking, and have'nt started yet. I love the colors, themes, and kids. Thanks so much for sharing. I know how you feel about finding a buddy. I need a mentor, just to help me get started. I have a kit, materials, just need a few lessons and guidance. Then like you I should be on my way! Thanks Again,

Summerwaters

Thank you, Cathy!

Thank you! Sometimes you just have to "fly by the seat of your pants" and just try it. Of course, sometimes my vision of the page is much better in my head than on paper, but we learn by baby steps, right?

Ooo..great layouts Selena! I like the Halloween pages the best. I always think bright primary colors look so good with kids' pages! Thanks for sharing them with us!

Maybe you'll spark some creativity in the other teachers with your scrapbooks and you'll get some of them hooked. But, anytime you want to get away to AR, you just let me know!
