Geneva Dairy Barn Follow-up info - Just in Case

Follow-up info about the Geneva Dairy Barn...in case it becomes our destination...

What do I need to do to put a hold on a particular date?

Pick a date and we will give you a group code and mark the date sold-out. As long as a few people start making reservations within a few days of getting the group code we will continue to hold the weekend.

By when does everyone have to send in their deposit?

Guests can make their deposit payment when they make their reservation or can mail it in.

By when do they have to remit the balance?

Balance is due upon "check-out" along with payment for any items purchased at the retreat and/or spa services.

How much is it for someone who lives nearby to come and join us during the

daytime for either one or two days? We don't normally have this available, but if we sell out all the bedrooms, then we could work something out. Sounds like your group will take all the bedrooms so this is likely. Price would be approx $59 per day which would include 3 meals/day, snacks,beverages, use of equipment etc.

Are there any prizes that you give out?

Yes, guest earn tickets in various ways and prizes are drawn for periodically.

I wonder if we can also bring "prizes" and stuff too... I know I want to bring goodie bags or something of the sort for everyone... hrm.... I know I'm willing if they need to, I'll sleep on an aero bed (air mattress) if I need to to make room for one more... maybe they could fit one or two more or even if a few people have campers that live within an hour or two (I could get a pop up and sleep a few more in it) if they would "tolerate" that.. LOL just an idea.....

I did ask that question, as the "retail" organizer which gives us part of the discount we are getting, I am allowed to bring door prizes and they will "work with me". I am sure that we will be allowed to give each other any gifts we want on a personal level as well :) Got to tell you all, right now the vote is too close to call only 1 vote separates the two front contenders. What surprises me a little is that we have more votes this time around that the last time, when we were asking for numbers, which is a litte disconcerting. I hope that people who are voting do have some intention of doing their best to go. If you have voted but are not planning on going at all, please contact me privately at itsmcsemail-rcs AT yahoo DOT com.

If you have not voted yet but are planning to go, please do so as quickly as possible. At this time, I would ask that no pressure or campaigning go on in the background. I know it is hard to resist, but I've been resisting doing that for a couple of weeks now, so it is doable, LOL!

You're great MC. I would be willing to come for the one day. It would make it a more reasonable price for me to be able to afford to come. Especially since I will be just getting back from Florida. Thanks for the hard work.
