How about an ATC swap

Jan 04, 2006 33 Replies

Lynne, they're going to be both. One side for art one side for info. I gave more details in my second post in this thread. As it seems several are having trouble seeing everything right now let me know if you missed it and I'll send it to you. Still want to do it?

Yes, I'll still do it and I just saw the post of details that someone resent to the news group. You sent out a great detailed post and I never saw it.

When I do swaps I post to the group and I do a personal email to each person interested in the swap just to make sure info gets out to everyone. Not trying to be bossy just putting out an idea. :)

Thanks for joining Lynne!

I wait until the swap is closed, which will be Thursday, and then I send out the final details to everybody. After that I pretty much keep all communication off the ng and strictly e-mail. I'll be sending out the details & mailing info Fri or Sat.

count me in.

sounds like something to keep my brain from making me lose it.

I'm going to try this one, but I'm really nervous about not doing it right. Some of the rules on the site I really don't understand. I have no problem with following instructions for the cards or being dependable.

I really want to do the swaps.

Hi Rach,

I'm with you on this one. Nervous that everyone will think I just made them crap. haha Let's just hold hands and jump in. We'll have fun trying. I'm thinking there are 3 main things, make sure it's the right size, make sure you do more than put a sticker on it, and make sure it is not too thick so it can fit into a plastic sleeve.

Ok, I'm going. I do think I need to email Katrina again. I think I left out my address.

How do you figure out how much you will be spending on something like this for the Confirmation email?

I'm kind of anxious about this one too. But I am looking forward to trying something new. We can be moral support for each other!

We're all moral support for each other. I haven't done this before either. RJ is our only veteran.

Linda, no I didn't get your e-mail. I was going to send you a message today to double check w/ you before sending out details though. Glad you decided to sign up.

Rach, I don't know what you're talking about w/ the money amount. The only time there's something set is when your sending a package (ie: secret santa, nsssf) For the most part I figured we would use things already on hand for this swap. That's what I plan on doing anyway.

Ok cool. I was looking at something on the RCS page about swaps. Maybe I misread it.

It's this bit. The amount ($$$) you will be sending and in what format you will be sending it

You are really bad!! Thinking that you are not talented LOL!

WELL everything that I received and saw of hers is way better than MINE!!! But as all of us knows, we ARE OUR OWN worst critic!!

Personally Lynne I wish I could see your ATC's and know they will be beautiful!!!

So get to cracking there and quit diddling and procrasinating (declaring to myself a statement!!)

(((HUGS)) oh and ducking!

Hi - if you are doing an ATC swap - I'd love to be in on one! I am in the U.K tho.

Hi Emma and welcome to rcs! I'm the host of this swap and it has already closed. We're all working on them now and some have already sent theirs off. Stick around and become a regular poster here so we can get to know you better and I'd love to have you in one of my swaps in the future.

We've got a couple of other regulars from the UK here at rcs right now. Maybe we can persuade some more to come out from lurkdom. I enjoy how worldly the group is becoming. It's interesting to hear what's going on everywhere in the world of scrapbooking.
