i'm doing the happy dance all over my house!!!!!!!!!

i was just at the LSS where i teach. she asked me to do a booth at the home and garden show!!!!!! the lady that is organizing it for the local builders association came in and asked if the store was interested in doing a booth. i got asked to organize our booth. from decorating, to make and takes to selling product. at first i was totally excited, but now reality has set in and i am completely freaked. how many make and takes of the same kind do i order, how many different ones, what projects should i do?? barbie (the owner) told me i could promote my website too!! now i have to come up with a few months worth the classes to advertise too. i'm so nervous now, it's just gonna get worse.

Anji,

You will do fine. I'm very happy for you. Keep in mind that several thousands usually attend these events so I'd research, by asking either Barbi or the promoter, as to how many people will be in attendence and where your booth will be (foot traffic will determine the number of visitors). I'd do make and takes themed around the event.

You'll be fine. Also see if Barbi will offer a discount to classes that are signed up by people who went to your booth. Have fun and take pictures.

xoxo Kate

Wow Anji that's wonderful. You have so many good ideas, you will be great. Kate's idea about class discounts is a great one. Since it is a home and garden show, there will be families. You might want to have a really simple make and take for kids to do like a card or picture frame. Have fun.
