Introduction

Hi! My name is Jana and I am an addicted stamper going on scrapper. I have been stamping for a few years now and am starting to work my way into scrapbooking. I recently discovered newsgroups (surprising for being an email addict for years) and thought this might be a great place to meet new people and get some great ideas.

A little about me...I live in Wisconsin with my dh and 3 kids (a.k.a. Monkeys). I am a SAHM that also has an in-home daycare and have been doing so for 8 years now (wow time goes by fast!). I also demonstrate for The Angel Company (Rubberstamps and Scrapbooking Supplies) and have been doing that for about 2 years. I spend most of my days stamping, reading about stamping and I try to throw a little knitting in there too - if time allows. I really need to start scrapbooking as pictures are endless in this house but they don't have a 'home' of their own and TAC will be moving a lot into scrapbooking in the new few months and I really need to have more scrapbooking experience to teach in classes. My goal this year is to get a scrapbook done for each of my kids - probably starting out simply with ABC Albums...

  1. I've been scrappin for a few years now, but never - in my lifetime will I be caught up. If I were, life would be really boring...... I have operated an in-home childcare for the past 8 years also. I don't do much stamping, but have started incorporating some into my LO's. Sandy

Hi Jana,

I am from South Africa and also new to the group - look forward to chatting with you and getting to see some of your work - if you think stamping is addictive, scrapping is way worse - when you are working with your family memories there is nothing in this world like it...

I am a SAHM working a few mornings a week in a scrapping shop, live with my DH and two kids, and don't get nearly enough time to scrap - am yet to get my first LO done for 2006, but have set myself a goal of 1 a month, so lets see how we go.

Welcome to RCS Jana! I live in Arkansas with my DH, our 2 kids, and our guinea pig. I've been scrapping for about 4 years. I'm a SAHM and a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I love both my jobs. :-) In all the years I've been scrapping, I've only completed 1 album. LOL It was for my parents as a gift. My two kids are 4 & 7, but in their albums they're 1 & 1 1/2. LOL Although, I have done some more recent pages of each of them just to give me a break now and then. This year, my scrapping goal is to complete 1 LO a week. Last year, I wanted to complete an album, which I did, but boy was it a tough one! LOL (My parents' album was about 70 pages when I got done.) Glad to have you with us!

I did the opposite to you. I started scrapping & now stamp as well. I also love to knit:>)

Welcome Jana....look forward to seeing some of your work! My name is Marilyn...I am a 54 year old Mum to three (2 boys & 1 girl) and grandmother of 5 ( 3 boys & 2 girls). I also share my life with DH (37 years married) and 11 shih tzu. I have crafted all my life but began card-making about three years ago and started to scrap Dec 2004.

Welcome to the group Jana. I live in Southern California with my hubby, DD and our cat Buddy. I have been scrapping for about 3 years or so and work part time at a scrapbook store. Can't wait to see some of your work.
