Hello, my name is Kristin Bishop and I am a student at Utah State University! I am also interested in becoming a member of a scrapbooking newsgroup to share ideas, information and tips on the scrapbook supplies, etc. I have been scrapbooking for about 5 years and watched my mother complete about 5 books each for every one of her 4 children. Needless to say I have been around scrapbooking for a long time...and have grown to love it. Between my job, being a newlywed, and continual homework assignments...I am always looking for an opporutnity to "catch up" on my scrapbooking. I began scrapbooking, viewing it as a chore that never ended...but I now find every excuse imaginable to take an hour and preserve my memories! It is such a stress reliever for me and I would describe it as my very favorite hobby. I look forward to meeting more of you and swapping creative ideas!

Hello, Kristin, and welcome! I think you'll find this group a wonderful place to spend time and learn new stuff. And all the folks here are warm and friendly. I've been here only a short time, but I've already learned some new scrapbooking techniques. I think it's great that you come from a scrapbooking family. I bet you have some beautiful layouts!

Welcome Kristin. I agree scrapbooking is a grat stress reliever and great hobby. I hope you find plenty of time to make memories and preserve your memories. In the short time I have been following this NG I have found that they are more than willing to enable anybody who will listen with tips and ideas for where to get and how to use the wonderful supplies that are available.
