Krylon Preserve It! a no go

Well, I tested the Krylon Preserve It! spray, and it doesn't do what I wanted it to. Nothing wrong with it, it's just not the product I wanted and I doubt the product I want exists. I wanted a spray that works like Mod Podge, encapsulating everything so nothing could be peeled up or flake off. But the way the book is now, if my sister takes reasonably good care of it, it should be fine.

Luna, Krylon also make several types of clear glazes, both gloss and matte, that might do what you want, but be careful. The can I have says nothing about whether it is acid-free, or that it can be used on photographs. But it will seal your project. I've used mine on paper drawings, paintings, decoupage, and similar projects, with good results. I checked the website, and most of the sealer sprays can be used on prints, especially inkjet prints, with good results. But nobody seems to know whether they'll be as good 30 years from now. Still, it might be worth a look.

Yeah, I did look at those too, but I'm hesitant to use them on photos. Maybe, just maybe, the Preserve It! could be applied first, and protect the photos from the sealer? When I get a moment I'll call Krylon and ask them.
