Last Disney Page Uploaded 4 the Day

I have worked on another page today. Its been a great crafty day! Just wish I could do it again tomorrow but I have to return to work. Yuckie! But good news I will be on vacation in 30 days! LOL!

Here is a layout that I made. After I uploaded the page I relized it is a very blue page. A lot of blue. Its okay but shouldn't have used so much blue. The funny thing is before I glued everything down I said to DH how does this look he said "great" and walked away. I go to upload the pictures and he says "instead of those blue flowers you should have used a different color there is a lot of blue on that page". I wanted to choke him, in a friendly way that is. LOL! You can't tell from the pictures but I chalked the flowers with some white chalk to break up the blue. For the title on page 1 I used the Cricut George Cart used the oval to make a "surf board". Take a look (and be easy on me this isn't one of my best pages)

Your book is really inspiring. You really did some awesome stuff with that cricut. I'm just about done with ours (from 2004, gulp). Just need to do some journaling and add some titles. Hoping for this weekend? Kathy

Kathy,

I would love to see your Disney Album! I love seeing other people's pages. It still have a lot more to do in my album. We hope to go back to WDW in 2009 and I want our 2006 album done before we go back. We were going to go next year but it doesn't look promising, to much is going on. But, I would love to see your pages! Thank you for your comments.

I can't figure out which one you consider "bad" because everything is so inspiring.

I've been going to WDW since 1979 and every few years since. There has NEVER been a bad memory from WDW.

We try to go every 2-3 years as Larry is a WDW fanatic.

My best friend (male) laughed when we spoke about what kind of gift I want for my birthday I said none, EXCEPT I want an old fashioned pix from Disney where we all dress up old fashioned like with the bar scene and SARAH is holding us up at gun point with lots of money sticking out of her.

He said "oh, ok so we're getting you stickers and scrapbooking stuff." His wife thought the idea of a layout featuring that picture would be hilarious.

Thanks for sharing all your pictures. I'm definately going to scraplift a few of your layouts INCLUDING the blue one.

I think your LO's are great. Nothin to complain about here :) I just love Disney. Your album makes me want to go back.

Although the last time I went I have a very unusual experience. Just for laughs, I'll share with you. I was performing in the park (at Epcot) with my traveling dance team. We were in our costumes doing our opening dance when RIIIPPP! off comes my skirt right on the middle of the stage. Thank goodness I had on bloomers or I would have been horrified. I ended up running off stage and getting pinned back up in order to finish the performance. **Memories**

Chrissy, I'll have to agree with your DH, there is a lot of blue on the page, but the LO itself is great. I think if you add some journaling to the LO it will break up the flow of the blue. I had a LO one time I had worked on for some time to get all of the photos just right, but I ended up with way too much green and hated it. Dave happened to stop by and I showed it to him. He suggested I just change the color of a few of the mats on the LO. Made a world of difference. I just love looking at all of the disney photos. Dreaming on............. Sandy

Never fear.... there is a lot of blue, but it still is a great looking page. I wouldn't worry about it. Stitch is blue, so it fits right in with the theme.

I love the pages Chrissy. I think the blue works, but then I love blue. Like Sandy said, you could change some of the mats to break up the blue.
