nope, I painted the entire outside and modge podged it.. :D
i'm thinking of doing a few for gifts... they take a while (mostly waiting for the modge podge to dry) but they are fun and so pretty...

Those are really pretty! Those would make great gifts. Hmm.....both kiddos have a shelf. Altered wooden letters spelling their name might make a neat Christmas gift. Now you've got me thinking RJ! Thanks!! (I think...LOL)
yeah I used glossy accents to glue them on.. it goes on perfectly clear...
just do the smaller ones for a name.. the R is HUGE! Its like a foot square! LOL...
LOL I was wondering how tall yours were. That would be a huge labor of love doing those big letters for DD.....all 9 letters of her first name!
