Mailing of CDs?

Hey how are people mailing their CDs in? Boxes? Padded envelopes? Jessica which ones show up in the best shape?

After all this work I'd hate to see them get messed up in the mail.

Thanks for the question, Lynne. I was wondering the same thing. I'm going to mail mine out this weekend.

I placed my Cd's in a ziplock bag just in case the package got flooded it wouldn't ruin my cd's. I put them in a padded envelop after that with an extra envelop to cushion them.

I have one more question. How much extra pre-paid postage are we supposed to send for them being mailed back to us. And are we to include an envelope for them to be mailed back to us.

Yes. Include as self-addressed envelope so Jessica can send the CD's to back to you. Include at least as much as it cost to mail it so she can cover postage or throw in enough stamps to cover it. I threw in another padded envelope and some cash for her.

So far all the CD's have come in just fine. I would say if you have embellishments that extend over the edge, just make sure they're packed so they can't move around and get bent. (no one's are, but i saw them, and thought it was a possibilty).

As far as postage - yes, please send me what it cost you to send yours

- that should be fine.

What I usually do for these swaps is use USPS.com and create the labels both to send mine out, and to get mine back. Or cash or a check is fine.

Thank you all for participting!

Mailed my CDs today. I put each set of 12 in its own baggie. Then I wrapped them in bubble wrap and then put them into a recycled padded envelope. I enclosed another padded envelope incase the outer one couldn't be recycled again. Inside also is return postage and an addressed label.
