Negative Question

Alrighty... I forgot (I think) to tell you some of the Jeep accident info yesterday.

dh was a doll in he had gone out the gate he did and got milk at the commissary for us. (it runs us $1.50 for 2 gallons cheaper on base than off) He went by the BX as well and picked up 6 rolls of film I'd dropped there a couple of weeks ago. (I didn't even mention it to him so I don't know why he was even looking at the film department)

Anyway... we didn't grab the milk last night or the pics... do negatives survive water immersion? Some of those pics are my DISNEY PICS!

depends on how long they were in the water.. if they were cleaned off and let to dry with PURE water.. they should be fine.. I would take them to the film place and see if they can clean them with some of the fluid from the last developing process.. Just a idea

Mindi,

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, we aren't going to get to the jeep until tomorrow at the earliest. (DH went out of town this morning, with MY car and won't be back before the tow folks close.)

Will see about taking it to a place tho when we get the stuff back. There is a good camera store in Hampton that has fixed my camera twice now... will have them check it out.

Oh no! I agree with Mindi. Good Luck!
