I got a catalog from Oriental Trading a few days ago, and tossed it aside assuming it was more of their junky junk for kids. I picked it up again today and realized it was an entire catalog of scrapbook things! They had some name brand items (K&Co, Colorbok, etc) as well as tons of their own line. All of it looked REALLY reasonably priced. They even had some office organizer items that looked magnificent. The only drawback is with shipping, but I think if you order enough, you can get free shipping. I didn't know if anyone had ordered from them before, or if maybe anyone needed a little help from an enabler!

Lori Shay LouisvilleLori,
I love Oriental trading for neat embellishments. The shipping is a little costly but with the reasonable prices it sorta works out in the end.

I just got it today and have been drooling over some things.

Same here, LOL!

Or, y'all can come visit me! We have the ONLY 2 stores for this company. They are called "Nobbies". One is in Omaha (about 20 minutes from me) and the other is right here in Bellevue (3 miles from my house).
I got a catalog too, and they DO have some real cute embellishments! I think I might order a few things with a couple of friends of mine, so we can get the break on the shipping! Linda c
Oriental Trading has some really cute embellishments. A friend of mine that is a paper floozy, orderd a bunch of paper through them, and it's really nice quality paper. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten her into scrapping yet, but I'm working on it! LOL
Argh! I want THAT catalogue - I just got their halloween junk one and tossed it in the trash... but then again, if I got my hands on it I'd probably drown in my own drool since we can't afford to buy anything from it :(
Lori! I got that catalogue, too! I was astounded by all the neat stuff! I was just fighting my urge to pick up the phone and order when I got a call from Jill telling me she also got one and we have talked ourselves into making an order! Maybe you should check to see if Carrie Beth got one? They do have some good stuff and I think fairly reasonable. I hope old Dave got one! LOL

Brain cells come and brain cells go.... but fat cells go on forever
Somebody else posted about this a while back. I signed up for a catalog and have received nearly half a dozen now. I have yet to see any scrap stuff in one w/ the exception of a little adhesive and I think there may have been some punches or scissors or something. I just got another in the mail, guess I'll go ahead and look at it.

I got the same mag and nearly tossed it! Just by chance I flipped it open and was pleasantly surprised :) Gave me ideas of stuff I NEED.. lol
I got mine last week. There are some cute embelishments. Lin
Well I checked my most recent catalog and it does have a couple pages of sb stuff. I want those wire brads! They're so neat. I don't like to use metal in my albums but they'd be great for cards.

If you haven't recieved their mailer...you can go to their site, and order on-line. I like shopping online from them more anyway...you get to see their whole inventory. They have a seperate scrapping section on their site.

Did you flip through it before you trashed it? I almost did the same thing, because it was covered with Halloween stuff on the cover. On closer inspection, though, I realized it was ALL scraps! Lori Shay
I did throw it out until I read here that it was a scrapbooking catalog, lol.
I think someone from Oriental Trading needs to read this and differentiate their scrapping catalog from their regular trinket one.
JennP.
I read it just in case there was anything interesting in it... but it was all mind-boggling junk. :(
