I thought I would ask for your help in helping this little girl. I know and am friends with her mom, Ana and I've met Savannah. Savannah was born with a defect that could have been taken care of early on in her life. Despite numerous visits to the pediatritian, it wasn't till there was a crisis and they took her to our local All Children's Hospital that they found out that it was too late for Savannah, her liver was already dying. Savannah will be
8 months in a few days and everyone is praying that the call for her to receive a liver will come any day. But as we all know, liver transplants are very expensive and while she is on the list with COTA, the Children's Organ Transplant Association, and they help out a lot, there are still some pretty heavy bills to pay. You can visit her CODA page atWhile there is a donation page on the website, there are many other ways to help.
A. You can collect your empty print cartriges, and your friends, and send them to me. B. You can send me your old cell phones. They will actually help twice, first when they go to the re-cycler who will make sure that they are wiped clean and pay Savannah's fund and 2nd when they are donated to different shelters for women needing help. C. You can donate something for the raffle, the silent auction and the door prizes at the large crop that Ana and I are organizing. D. You can come to the crop and meet other RCS members (it will likely be held right off I-75 in the Tampa to Bradenton corridor. I'll update you guys on that later.
The hardest thing for Ana, a fellow scrapbooker who comes to scrap at my house, is the wait and seeing some of the other COTA children not get their organ transplant in time. It was hard to listen to her explain to me that even if Savannah doesn't make it, the money will go to another child on the list so that any contribution made will go to a child in need, no matter Savannah's outcome. I am asking for your help in making this miracle come true. They are testing family members right now in case they need a live donation. Savannah's blood type is A and because she is so tiny, the person donating must be under 35, smallish and healthy. Remember livers regenerate.
I am personally donating a number of items including the winner's choice of either a C, D or E Mini Kit in either maple or walnut from
