Update - The Miracle for Savannah Scrapbook Crop - Sat Sept 15th 2007 - Brandon, FL

I want to publicly thank Helen in NY for her gererous donations to the Miracle for Savannah Crop. You've been truly great and at my last crop I was mentionning you and one of my other croppers said that she buys from you too! Small world!

We now have Jacqui and with any luck Tabatha and her mom coming. Hopefully more of our Florida ladies will consider coming and meeting up at the crop. Carol, Hilda, Irene, Anita, etc please do let me know if you can come, if you need a hotel room and a roomate so that I can organize that and get us a group rate! As a reminder, the crop is all day Saturday, September 15th at the Brandon Elks Lodge, in Brandon, FL. The cost if you send me a check made out to COTA with "In honor of Savannah A" in the memo field, is $40 and includes food, snacks, door prizes, a gift bag and tickets for the special drawing. I'll spring the $10 donation to get an RCS table of depending on the number have you guys join my Scrapbook Buddies friends. (Tickets for the drawing can also be purchased if you do not attend the crop at $5 for 2 or $20 for 5 as long as it is legal in your state to participate.)

you'll see that our list of sponsor and prizes is growing. In fact I am waiting to actually get the other drawing prizes to put them on the site but I do know that there will be a Portaink and Marker Buddy from the Best Scrapbook Organizer as well as aare waiting for a Xyron Personal Cutter System to come in. We got another $100 donation from a local scrapbook store for door prizes today and learned that we were having pizza and baked ziti donated for lunch in addition to the pulled pork that Smokey Bones is donating for dinner. I went and tasted the pulled pork the other day and man it was yummie!

Little Savannah is holding her own, though her belly is huge from all the fluids that are not being flushed from her system because of her condition. She was up being seen at CHOP last week and actually had managed to gain a little weight. She is only one of two babies that they have seen in 15 years that has managed to gain a little weight. Please keep your prayers and thoughts coming for Savannah that she may attain the magic weight and get a liver in time!

OH M-C, I am glad to hear that your crop is coming together so well and you are getting a lot of community support. I wish you the best and I still have little Savannah in my thoughts.

I'm looking forward to seeing you again too :) Very understandable. Just let me know if I can help you in anyway. I don't do well at scrapbooking at crops anyways so I'll help in anyway that I can :) I'm always too busy looking at what everyone else is doing. I do good to get one page done LOL
