I saw the coolest thing -- scrapbooking wise

I have been going through all the craft magazines that have accumulated in our tiny bathroom and yanking out "scrapliftable" ideas and came across this advertisement:

I know I've got a couple of things from my wedding I'd love to include (8 years later) into our album but couldn't. I had to share as it was a "why didn't I think of that" moment.

Just enabling.

Wow - if I'd thought of that I'd make a million bucks! What an awesome idea!

Hmm - wonder if it's something i can make though.....since $19.99 is a lot for me!

Thanks for shar> I have been going through all the craft magazines that have

Thanks for sharing with us. That is a really neat idea. I think it could be made, Jessica. You could think of it as a shaker card on steroids :) It is pretty much the same concept I believe. Just create the 3-D effect with foam mounting but leave out the glitter.

See I'm weird, I'd buy the thing. Disect it visually. Make it cheaper but still archivally safe and then sell it on eBay.

LOL

I had no idea how much they cost. I have two of these. One was given to me by a friend and I bought the other one for $5 at a LSS yard sale. I plan to use one the back of each DD and DS's scout albums for their badges and pins. They are made of molded plastic with plexiglass covers that screw into the plastic frame at the corners. Sandy

Oh you're funny and so right.... "shaker card on steroids."

That is really a great idea!!! Thanks for showing, It's something that we can think about trying for ourselves.

This is a neat idea! If someone here does make one on their own please share how it turned out with us.
