I think that you can but try not to get caught..... I think that you can go to Limewire.com and you wont get in trouble. Yanya :)
In Canada, it's not illegal to download music. But if you burn cd's don't SELL them. That's pirating. My daughter downloads music all of the time using Kazaa or Bear Share. But she never burns discs. Instead, she'll download all the music from a particular cd. If she likes the music, she deletes it from the computer and buys the artists disc.
When I had roadrunner I downloaded all the time... Limewire is the best.. It does not have spyware, or a whole bunch of pop ups... you can also try Napster, but you have to pay for that.
