Hi Sandy, I have Googled your reported message and can't find anything exactly the same, so I broke the message up. The "Resource temporarily unavailable - rate limiting" seems to come up in relation to webtv.net email addies in the search I run, but it may apply to all email servers. I don't understand much of the techie stuff but there was something there about smtp (some code number) MX records. I think that if you send mail it does the rounds over a certain timescale, i.e. 2 days, and if it can't reach the recipient it is sent back to sender as "undeliverable".
I also found this on the Client host rejected:
THE PROBLEM: The mail server - source IP address which is trying to send mail to whatever.com does not have proper reverse DNS entries setup or the DNS server for that mail server was not functioning at the exact instant that the mail was trying to be delivered to whatever.com.
Sounds like the problem could be ruthless spam filters by the isp involved!!!!! I am sure someone more up with things like this will be able to give a better explanation :o) I tried!!!
