That is the worst smell in the world. I wouldn't know how to get it out, but I would try putting fabreeze on it to help take the smell out. After a while the smell will just go away. Good luck.

Pour some liquid nitrogen on it and wait 20 seconds, it will freeze solid. Using a drill with a long bit attached drill into the mouse. It will shatter into a hundred pieces. Use tweezers inserted through the hole to remove the pieces of mouse but do so as quick as possible before it defrosts. Or.....call a professional and have the floorboard removed so the dead mouse can be removed before it stinks up the house.

Gads, I can beat that--when I was a kid, a dog, GREAT DANE, somehow crawled up under our house and died--OMG. We had to crawl under there and pull out the body, which of course was decomposing and full of... well, let's just say, insect life ...I even have nightmares about that every once in awhile. :*(

No I never had to do it but I have played around with lots of chemicals in my day. Most of the time it worked, once I forgot to make a 10% solution and it started a small fire in the lab and once...the whole building had to be evacuated as a precaution because of fumes because I mixed a few things that shouldn't have been mixed. Rest assured that was years ago and knock on wood I haven't caused any mess in about 20 years....with the exception of placing huge blocks of dry ice in the freezer, but I knew what was going to happen when I did it so it doesn't count.
