thanks everyone for the coluzzle tips. DH had to redo my computer the other day and didn't tell me i would loose everything in outlook. i couldn't find the group for a few days. is it wrong to just use a self healing mat under the coluzzle? also, which way is the right side to lay down?? the sides look the same to me. thanks,

Both sides of the template ARE the same... it's not like the fiskars ones where you're supposed to put the grid facing one way. And you really need to use the special white foamy cutting mat - it just doesn't work on a regular self-healing mat. The blade hangs up in it all the time and makes a mess of the template and paper...
Hi Anji, yes it is wrong to use a self healing mat. You need one of the foam type mats that is special for the coluzzle. It doesn't matter which side of the template you use.
