OT: Making Digital Lay outs?

Kate and others that love the Digital Lay Outs....

What type of Software do you use to make digital lay outs? I have looked on my applications on my computer and have not found anything. I thought I had something already, but it seems if I do that I am not looking in the right place.... I think for some things that it would be easier for me to part with the pages if I knew I could duplicate it... I am thinking that for Steve's Mom, maybe it would be a good thing to make for her to look at and then when it is taken from her room by someone, at least I would not feel as bad. I left some framed pictures with her (at the nursing home)... next time they were not there... very frustrating, as we are not sure why they are not there... we can't really ask her...dementia/ Alzheimer's makes her not remember anything long and it frustrates her when she thinks someone may have taken her stuff... As well as it frustrates me...

I use Creative Memories Story Book Creator. It is an EXCELLENT program and can do just so many wonderful things for digital scrapping. You can make them as simple or as complex as you like. There are still things I am finding out that I can do with this program.

you like.

I LOVE my Hallmark Scrapbooking Studio that I bought at Staples. All my pages are from them and it takes no time to learn and you can add graphics to the program from ANYWHERE.

I use PageMaker, which is a general graphic design program. The scrapbooking-specific ones the others mentioned sound like they have definite advantages for scrapbooking, espeically if you're just starting out with digital.

Yes, as you mentioned, one of the things I like about digital is being able to make multiple copies. How frustrating that someone may have taken Steve's mom's photos. I hope you let management know in case they've had other similar reports.

Have fun learning digital!
