OT: My Mom fell and broke her hip

Just wanted to let you all know that my Mom fell on the 19th of April, never went to the doctor for x-rays. Keep in mind her entire Right eye turned eggplant color and so did her hip. When she woke up this AM she heard and felt a Crack. Needless to say she has a Displaced Fractured hip and will have to get hip replacement surgery tomorrow. Had to hit the Life Alert to get fire Dept. here @ 6am. Please say a Prayer for her and for a speedy recovery. It is so difficult as she and my Dad both have Parkinson's. Sorry to hear about your Mother. My grandfather fell a month ago and broke his leg. It has been hard but he is now recovering slowly but surely. I hope your Mom heels quickly.

Oh Dorothy I am so sad to hear this. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

That was what led to mamma's passing, besides her having diabetes and the healing problems associated with that.
