OT: My Surprise package

When I got home I had a lot of mail as usual, and that is not to mention emails!!

Anyhow mama will be gone 10 years come December. She had a ton of pictures of me that I sent her and know she took. anyhow I ha asked her sisters who cleaned out her house if I could have the pictures. About 5 years ago they told me various excuses about them, they were thrown out (which would not have shocked me!) and so on. I also did not hear from them again, even as late as two years ago when I sent them Christmas cards.

well anyhow here was as this package and I knew the address. I opened it and OMG, i was so shocked!1 There was no note, no nothing just 4 or 5 baggies of pictures, some which I did not even know about of me and mama and papa. I cried as all the great memories came flooding back. I looked thru the pictures, sorted them and looked again. all the while not being able to focus or cope with anything.

So now I have a treasure trove that I will set to scrappin when i get back in the swing the end of the month and after I finish all the other incomplete lo's I have!!

i am so elated over this "find" i just do not know hat to say or do. the Lord does work in mysterious ways and really is there!!

Just had to share my find and now have hopes hat the trove of letters that i wrote of my years in the Army will be located too, especially the ones of me in war. mama told me she kept everything - imagine that!! She told me her and papa would read and laugh alot on some of what I wold write, so I am again praying and thanking the Lord!!

80 for 06 2 cards

You can subscribe or purchase a one-time Photo Saver box to send in those photos to be scanned and digitized. That way, the deterioration stops now! Photos can be saved on the site forever (they do NOT delete them EVER) so that future generations will have access to them. I had photos of my dad digitized and made him a Movie Magic DVD for Fathers Day --it was so great to see those pictures in full TV screen size and he was very touched.
