OT: News :o)

Well, I made it through my first week back at work full-time, it was actually a LOT easier than I thought it would be, and most people were very supportive and helpful with many things which was a big help.

Also, I wanted to share with you all that DH and I joined Weight Watchers this week..... I'm already feeling so much better in myself, and working together, we are gonna do wonders ;o) I've got my mind set on a new car when I reach a certain weight, so I'm really looking forward to that.... more importantly, we are soon coming into Spring, so the weather will call for more and more walks along the lakes edge and we might even get the boat in the water in the next couple of months, I'm so looking forward to the NEW, IMPROVED HEALTHIER CEC! I'm going to scrap my entire journey... so stay tuned :o)

Yea! :-) Glad it's been an easy transition for you.

Way to go!! :-)

Try cutting out all the high fructose corn syrup stuff in your diet if you can--I was amazed at how much stuff it is added into, even the so-called "healthy items"! Here's a link to info about it:

For years I had problems losing weight, despite going to WWs, Jenny Craig, etc. and eating only 'healthy' foods. Since I've been made aware of the HGCS stuff (started being added in the 70s, America's obesity started in the 70s, coincedence?) I've been really careful about excluding those items (and it's in EVERYTHING just about, I was stunned when I checked all the packages of health foods at the grocery store!) and I've been able to drop 15+ pounds and most of my digestive problems have totally disappeared...of course, exercise and portion control are still very important as well. Much good luck to you and your DH in losing the weight! Hope you get a new car very soon! :-)
