no blocks made this week

After a great start on the anniversary quilt I have stopped dead in my tracks. No blocks were made this week. Perhaps this evening I will be able to make one or two so the week won't be a total loss. Not really sure where the week went. Did bind several charity throws (all machine work) and stitched a very simple red work sample for the store. Can't even remember any shopping trips. How can one let an entire week slip by and not remember what she has done with it? Guess I should start keeping a journal to remind myself of my activities. Of course journal writing would take time away from quilting.

Well, Susan. Let's look at it this way. Now that you have the charity throws bound and the sample stitched, you can enjoy doing a block or two for the anniversary quilt without those other things clamoring for your attention. You can create some blocks in peace and quiet. Yes. That sounds good. It's so much nicer when you've rid yourself of things that are nagging. (Sometimes that may not be entirely legal.) Polly

No sense worrying about the past. Better make yourself some tea, pop a couple pieces of chocolate, sit down at the sewing machine and get going! :-)

We're all cheering you on!

This is exactly why I posted that I had started this quilt. I am a great "starter" but seldom finish anything for my own family. I knew you guys would keep me honest and stitching.
