Well, I'm as ready as I can be to head to Tucson. All my beads are priced and packed, I have labels, stickers, receipts, business cards (I bought a wonderful new printer last week!). I even packed my lo carb lunch and a gallon of my special iced tea. I have to take the kids to school and then I hit the road. Tonight the show opens at 4, closes at 8, then I drive back home, about 2 hours each way. It's going to be a long, but interesting week. I'm excited but not as nervous as in past years....dunno if that's good or bad though. LOL
I doubt I'll have any auctions up this week, but you never know.
I had a treat Saturday night. Kate Fowle was at the Mesa Arts Center giving a 2-day workshop, and Sat night she did a slide show and demo of one of her beautiful seashells. The slides were great, showing her progress over the past 14 years. And it was just plain cool to see her, she was my first teacher 7 years ago. She's coming down to Tucson to shop, and I can't wait for her to see my stuff.
Have a good week, everyone.
