< WOW! Those are really nice. :) Not sure what you mean about earring pairs? Something simalar to what I have listed? Let me know and I will see what I can do. Can I kind of copy your designs and maybe make a few. :)

earring pairs = ones that are similar enough, either in shape (like the curved ones) or in pattern (the paua...some of them were almost white with a little spot, some were completely blue/green/shimmery).

Of *COURSE* you can copy them. The pattern that I used was a "simple" one...basic repeat.

But thanks for asking, it's always a good thing. But always keep your eyes open for inspiration! What if you saw these, and saw some of yours, and had purple and green stones...or other things. Let your mind flow...:-)

< Yikes! Now there is a challenge. Every shell is different and would be very difficult to find 2 that matchs, but I shall try. I know I can come very close with the colors on the back of the shell, but the inside of the shell is totally different. Now shapes I can pretty close match easily.. well how hard is it to make a circle. lol I have many idea for earrings and such, but the problem is like you described... they are all different. I am thinking of going towards charm bracelets, anklets and necklaces. As soon as I figure out how to make then so they are beautiful and look high quality. By that I mean... putting them together with quality items and not just tying a knot, but then again these are a natural product and makybe a knot would be appropreate? My spelling sucks and I hope you know what I meant. lol Whoa... enough rambling.

You really need to get some rest... maybe a nice warm shower or bubble bath will relax you enough to slip in a nap? I will pray for some sleep for you.

What I meant by "matching" as far as the colors, is one that has a lot of paua with another. Instead of one with a lot combined with one that is almost all white. Does that make sense?

The shapes, I loved. The two that I put together don't "match" exactly, that's what I loved about them, they are a similar shape/size.

I don't do macrame, or macrame style knotwork, but I wonder how they would look "knotted" into it. The only drawback I could see is if the paua broke, but if you put it on a jumpring or wirework, the paua can be replaced.

hmmm, those double-drilled pieces, wonder how those would look worked into a freeform peyote piece?

< Oh I understand now. I put the pieces like that so people would buy them all so they could have a wide selection to choose from. lol Nah... just kidding. I will have to pay closer attention the next time and try and match up the shells. I love the gold, (white), ones a lot. I think they would really catch the sun and draw a lot of attention. :) Kind of like little mirror flashs. :) The double hole shells have a lot of potential. I was thinking someone could make a chocker from them or a really cool bracelet. :)

thank you. I love the soft peachy-mauve with those swarovskis! Wish I had more of those beads, but they were a FMG clearance item, and even then, they worked out to about $1 a bead!
