My show and tell!

Okay, wanting so show off some things that I have made recently, then I

*have* to enter 30+ orders to this findings bulk buy...the deadline *was* tonight...but by the time I get the spreadsheet done, with all the orders I received today, I will have to extend it to like Wednesday!

ARGH!!!

anyways, here goes (yes, it's a bunch...the ones that I made this week...very little commentary, though...sorry):

(3 and 4 SCREAMED till I made them. All I wanted to do was take a bath...now I want MORE!!! both of them took 1/2 hour, including scanning!)

(a bead out of Tink's grab bag of a deal!!! "forced" myself to use it, and I *love* the results...note the toggle...I *WANT* more! Next Bali order...)

this design got inspired by a totally different one on eBay. As I gathered up the materials for it, Kate Childer's lampwork bead jumped into the middle of it. I have had it for about 6 months or so, and it finally found it's place. Now, I am debating on adding the heart part of the toggle from Tink's bracelet as a "charm" to this bracelet...

do you all want to see the necklaces???

Aaaaaah!!! Beautiful, beautiful and great components. And not only do you turn out lovely pieces always, you are so FAST! I'd still be working on bracelet #1 while you would be on #8.

And HECK YEAH, I want to see the necklaces!

Mary,

Does this imply you are still taking orders?

I was kicking myself a few weeks ago when I noticed your message about the order several days after the deadline.

BTW I like your bracelets, especially the first and second ones with the double strands. Those don't flip over, huh? :)

thanks

yep. Don't ask me how much yet...haven't priced it out. Someone asked me on the last 4, and I said off the top of my head $40 each...it would probably be a little less, $35, but I haven't priced it out yet...and with packing/mailing the Bali buy, plus getting ready to put in the findings buy...:-)

If you are interested, lmk, and I will price it out...

Mary p.s. I have a 6 inch wrist, and it's *way* big on me...I am going to guess that it would be a loose 7" wrist, with perhaps a 7 1/2" wrist? it is

*almost* 8 inches without the toggle parts (from crimp to crimp)...of course, I can take it down a little...

I think they don't flip, because they are so close together, there isn't room. I need to work on the toggles a bit, because one does twist at the ends (the pearl/peridot one), and the other, I put a split ring before the toggle, and it's turned 1/4 turn but the crimp is so tight on the split ring, I can't take the toggle off to add another split ring to it.

I do have a passion for all things sparkly, eh? Well, I think Mary is finding out I actually have fairly narrow taste. Clean. Simple. Plain.

I am in the process of taking pictures this afternoon. I'm getting better, but I still have SO much more to learn!

vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from "Tink" :

]I do have a passion for all things sparkly, eh?

"oooooh . . . a SPARKly! you have a SPARKly?"
