Pretty, Kandice! That bracelet is yummy!
I've been working on odd things. Big surprise, eh? Here are some pics:
Those are gorgeous! Love the braceclet! I've been making more beads this week...I'm going to have to post them one of these days.....
Best, Deborah
Great Stuff, Kandice and Tink!!
Been up to my eyeballs in name bracelet orders. Nothing terribly interesting, I"m afraid. They're made with 5mm Swarovski 5000's in birthstone colors this time, instead of my usual 4mm gemstone.
I'm considering switching to a 5.5mm alphabet block, since those are more readily available at a discounted price.
Ho Hum....wish I could post some gorgeous work like you!
YUM... FREE giveaway? How do you get in it? on it? with it? whatever...
I made clay covered eggs. Meg altered the design direction for one when she tried to bounce it on the kitchen floor. These eggs will be displayed at the local library to entice people to sign up for a beginners class in polyclay. In just a moment Ill post a picture of them in the polyclay folder at the url in my siggy. As always Kandice, your glass art is beautiful! Diana
Wow. I love the colors. And the beads are beautiful
I was beading cabs, ran into a snafu. Could not for the life of me figure out why netting works so well on wooden beads and ornaments but not on cabs. After making about 4 of these beaded bezels using various size picots, I discovered the problem. Always read the supply list. Yes, folks, it's very important. Who would have thought? I was making the bezels with 11/0 and should have been using 14/0! Well hallelujah! Ran to my LBS only to find two colors of 14/0 and not any colors I would use at this moment. blech So I bought a few vials of 15/0, again limited color selection. So until I order some
14/0s online I will practice with these. I can now say that I now longer have to read the directions, I have this bezel business down pat!AND I just finished Joce's logo tutorial using PSP. What fun!
Wow! That is just so nice, Kandice.
Not a dang thing. =o( I am getting ready to leave for BeadExpo, so I have been helping to package, tie and price beads to bring along. That does my wrists in for the day. When I get home its me and an ice pack.
But my brain hasn't stopped creating. =o)

Margie...if the beads are Japanese, 14/0 & 15/0 are one and the same. There will only be a slight difference in size and shape depending on the manufacturer, but Japan only makes size 15/0. Many years ago an importer referred to them as 14's because they resembled a Czech 14/0 in size. This caused some confusion. So, go back and get what you need. Support your LBS! (when you can)
And your logo came out way cool! What a great tut!

My left wrist still hurts. LOL! But yeah, I think it's worth it... I'm hoping my sculptural skills will improve as I do this more, but I'm off to a good start.
Tink (who is busting with good news to tell, but wants to wait until it's finalized)
Thank you for that information, Beki. I was told that they were getting more colors in, they had a run on 14s and 15s.
You think? That's the one I did without a tut using PictureIt. LOL I might be able to refine it a bit using PSP. Next up!
Beautiful work Kandice! Love the bracelet - I'm sure your cousin will too :)
I'm still working on a pink pearl and garnet necklace. It's wirework and delicate little sterling chain between the pearls and is taking me forever - it's going to be pretty, but I'm not enjoying making it for some reason. I make one link in it then have to move on to something like cleaning the house - that tells you how much I'm not enjoying it LOL.
