OT: Quiet, but not by choice

I'm going to have to be 'quiet' for a while. :-( *pout pout* I've dealt with carpul tunnel in my right hand for about 11 years, and of course I'm right handed. Well, recently it has taken a downhill slide, very quickly I might add. I have an appointment with an orhtopedic on Monday. (yay!!!) Of course, this all means that typing, using the mouse, etc just aggravtates the CT even worse. I should be able to check posts through the week, but I can't gaurantee I'll reply as often as I usually do. On top of the CT, I have bronchitis.

Along with my CT and bronchitis, DD has strep....again. I have lost track of how many times she's had strep within the last year! I'll be discussing this with her pediatrician at her ADHD checkup on the 24th. Why is it that I can never get sick by myself? There always has to be someone else in the house who gets sick along with me. LOL

Crafting-wise, my CD caledndar swap is coming along. The cross-stitch project that I wanted to finish for DH for CHristmas isn't going to happen due to the CT. :-( No problem, just soemthing to do for Father's Day. The good news is with the bronchitis, I have more down time to do some crafting. THe bad news, is the decongestant the doctor precscribed for me to help clear up the crud that brought on the bronchitis makes me a little on the loopy side. Let me put it this way, if I was pulled over by a police officer they would give me a sobritiey test. I would utterly fail the phsyical test part, but pass the breathalizzer test part. LOL

Poor you Deb! I hope you feel better soon. Give Miss Elizabeth with an E a big hug from me and tell her I hope she feels better soon too! Are you wearing a brace at night on your wrist? It really does make a difference!

BTW, I have not received your info or Kenda's for the new RCS contact list. I am hoping to have it done by tomorrow!

Big Hugs, M-C

Deb, You poor thing! I surely can relate to what you are going through. CT is no fun, and it is bearable only so long before you just cant take it anymore. Like M-C suggested, the wrist brace helps a lot, wearing it at night, too. Good luck with your doctor appt on Monday, and I hope your young'uns get better soon! I know its hard to take care of sick little ones when you are sick too. Someone needs to take care of Mom too!! Thinking of you and sending (((hugs)))
