Kyla -- I'm not sure that is possible, but will wait for the wire experts to weigh in.

]What I'm mostly stuck on ]is how to make it hard, and not bendable.
it would probably have to be something a LOT stronger than silver!

Hi Kyla, Here is a link to a stilletto for beading that you can order, or at least get ideas from.
How about using a stickpin? If it is too sharp, you could file down the end a bit. I have some heavy duty ones in brass and also silvertone (stainless?) and would be happy to send you one if you think it would work. Just let me know.
Hmm....what is a stickpin? I have a feeling I know what it is, but it's lost somewhere in the back drawers of my mind;o) LOL
It's a long pin, like a hat pin, or used as a decorative pin. One end is sharp that you can put a cork filled cap on. The other end is decorated.

The pins I have are long (you would need to cut them to the length you need) and undecorated. Basically they look like a long straight pin, only thicker wire.

Not sure what you would use for the pointed metal end...I'm sure someone will have an idea for you.
a good quality steel tapestry needle works just fine.... Cheryl of DRAGON BEADS Flameworked beads and glass
