Just have to share. My mom has been 'domestically' challenged as long as I can remember. I mean, great cook, but never into crafty stuff. She's an outdoor type, with horses, etc.
So... recently she found a class on quilting. She took it and she's off! They have monthly meetings at the local senior center and she just completed her first one. I have my grandmother's bed set up in my scrapbook room, so I put mom's quilt on there. It looks awesome! Mom also found a 'quilt' pillow that Grandma started but never finished before she passed away. I looked at it today and it's hand stiched! I am going to finish it up and make some more plain pillows and put it all together.
I will try and get some pictures of it and post them.
