OT: Wii Fit

I got one for my Mother's Day present. I've really been enjoying exercise oriented video games. The kids and are having fun. Anyone else have one of these?

I got one for graduation but I won't actually get it until I get back to KY. I can't wait. I love to play everyone else's so I am so excited to get my own. =)

When you get set up we'll have to talk. I'm having a lot of fun. The kids got it synced up with the wireless internet and they've been getting friend's Mii characters. It's been kind of fun seeing a representation of their friends through out the training. There is a soccer game I was playing and I yelled out to the kids "Did your friend Raymond just throw a shoe at my head?!" Yes, he had. We had a good laugh.

Sounds like you are enjoying your Wii Fit. I've been trying to convince my daughter to get one, but so far she is resisting.

Soccer show throwing... people shrinking; sounds fun. I wondered how it was. I've been wanting it but do not own and cannot afford a WII... til then its DDR for me (and I'm not good at it no matter how hard I try.)

We definitely will Lynne. Do you have the actual fit game with the balance board and everything? I have been reading reviews on it and they have a lot of good things to say about it. That is cool that you can interact with other Mii characters. I didn't know you could do that.

I do not have one but that sure does sound like fun. Still laughing about the shoe to the head. ;o)

I have the balance board and everything. I was amazed that the board actually weighed me quite accurately... damn it!

Its funny that this topic came up this weekend.... my husband and i had everyone over for Memorial Day (on Sunday) and our best friends brought their wii over. They ended up taking a cab home so they left the game at out house. We played it ALL day on Monday -- they even let us borrow it for a day or two because we were having so much fun with it. We didn't play the Wii fit game, but we played guitar hero and a few other games. Its a LOT of fun... now I just need to convince my hubby that we need one of our own!!

My son got us a Wii Fit before he left to go back to Iraq. I love it!!! Myself, my 26 year old daughter, 16 yeaer old son, and his friends are giggling, and having a great time! The soccer balls, and shoes to avoid are a laugh riot!!

Also it does work quite close, (I agree damn it!!!!!) It is just amazing what it can do!!
