Hi.

UPS left the darn package at "left at front door" without getting a signature. Can you check. It is in your red envelope (had to recycle).

thanks,

Kate

Hope Milissa finds it, Kate! I'm assuming you paid for them to get a signature? I'd be interested in knowing.

I've got a package heading eastward via FedEx, signature required. We'll see if they actually get the signature.

Am wary of all of the delivery services at this point, after my fiasco with DHL this summer. I shipped a package (the pages for several albums & some stuff for my dad & our family reunion) to myself this summer 4 or 5 days before I was due to arrive back east for a visit. I arrived & my box wasn't there. Very long story short, he'd "left it behind a bush" at some completely different address (not even the same [or similar] street name *or* the same street number) & put it behind a bush so it wouldn't be seen from the street. No bushes at dad's, so when they told us that we knew before they gave the address that he couldn't have left it at the right place. I arrived Saturday & either Monday or Tuesday, the driver returned the truck to the DHL facility mid-day & quit. His supervisor ended up spending the remainder of that day & at least most of the next (my box finally arrived late that day) cleaning up his mess. I had not shipped that one "signature required".

Included in the box to myself were the pages for 3 scrapbooks, which I assembled there, then shipped on to their destinations. I used FedEx that time, & was told by the person at the counter that DHL was going under & was no longer doing the long-haul shipping (didn't have their own planes). They'd accept a package for a distant destination, then ship it to their facility via another carrier, then deliver locally.

Hope your package arrived OK (& hope mine that's enroute at the moment does, as well).

I just finished going through it (had to work today). It arrived this morning at 9:30, they rang the doorbell. They always do that.

I live in the country and there is zero chance of it being stolen.
