Has any of you tried selling your scrapbooks or cards? I would like to try and sell but start off slow first...like cards individually and a few card sets...but what would you suggest be a good number for sets and do you tie them with ribbon or put them in boxes? what do you think is a good starting price for cute cards...not simple but yet not fancy either just cute..Would like to do Note cards so they can be use for what ever they want.. im just curious if any body would buy home made when they are getting cheap in the dollar stores now adays.. any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.. thanks.....cathy

PRICING: I was thinking of doing cards at 50=A2 each and box sets at $ maybe 4.00 for a set of 6...does that sound good or too less or too much? need feedback please

I price my individual cards at $1.50 - $2.00 a card depending on what types of embellishments were used and cost to me. With sets I sell 4 cards for $5.00.

I just recently did a couple of scrapbook pages for a co-worker. Her daughter needed them for a scrapbook for a club she was in. I asked $5.00 a page for them.

I charge anywhere from $10-20 per page depending on how complex the page is. I also usually absorb the cost of the album and paper, but charge for the embelishments. I've not sold cards yet, but plan on doing so. I would thinl that the ards you make by hand are at least worth as much as the manufactured ones.

Cathy I sell my cards for $2.25 each or a set of six in a homemade box for $12.00.

The going rate for scrapbook pages in this area is $15.00 per page plus materials.
