QVC

I watched!! I didn't buy anything either, but I was soooo tempted for the acrylic overlays and the brads! I can't do much else, just found out today I have a blood clot in my leg, so I have to stay put with my leg elevated...only can get up to go pee and eat! (and check email, I added that one!) Anyway, back to the TV for me, glad there are no more tempting scrapbook shows on! Arleen

AND MOST OF ALL - check your email!! (sit in the chair a little sideways and put a footstool beside it. Tada!! leg elevated, or do you have to elevate it above your head or heart? In that case guess you could lean WAY back and prop it on top of the monitor - LOL!!!

shame on me! No one was home and I was working and watching QVC- all alone. Next thing you know my friend Madge (short for Imadginaree Frend) came in and she wanted to order something. I tried to talk her out of it but she just had to have the Magnetic Alphabet Stamp Set with 2 alphabets and the set of 18 Galaxy broad point markers. I'm glad she ordered it and not me - but I don't know how I'll explain the entry in my checkbook.

I wish your friend Madge would have come over my house and bought that set. I bought the cork alphabet but I wish I would not have held back on that MM set , next thing I new it was sold out.

Jan There are allot of people that can not see your emails because of the attachment. Can you not put them on please? We would hate to miss anything you say on the group!!!! :)

My mother-in-law called to tell me to that it was on. She then started asking what I wanted and she would have bought it for me!! I didn't get anything...I loved it all, just didn't have a need for it (I am running out of room on my desk -- my scrapbooking area is a desk in my living room).

I hope there will be more shows coming up soon...I can really use something to hold my 12x12 paper...but something that does't take up a lot of room.

LOL! Madge tried to come over but I just had to tell her no touching my checkbook since I ordered several scrapbook goodies two weeks ago from QVC. :) I loved the cork alphabet too but I realized I have the cork sheets and could stamp them myself, now I am getting creative LOL! Plus I ordered the markers from Stampin Up! last week... hmmmm, maybe Madge has been visiting after all!

Arleen, I think these are what Lisa Bearnson is using in her scrapping room. On QVC last night, they had a clip of her scrapping room and she said she was storing her paper horizontally but then she decided to do it vertically and she says she can store more. I believe these were what she was using.

I'll let you know how well they work when I get them...I can't wait until they arrive!! Arleen

Thanks Dave and all! I have my other office chair right next to me with the leg propped up! The doctor has me taking coumadin and aspirin and I go back on Monday...hopefully he will give the green light to get back to work...this is costing me money!! But I would rather not suffer an embolism, so here I sit... Arleen

Arleen, So sorry to hear about your phlebitis. Do you also have to wear the elastic stocking ? Just do what the doc says and take good care of you

gee maybe there is an advantage to this hurricane charley mess i have. i have limited power and so i have no tv to watch, so i saved money by not watching this time. the last time i watched madge's sister shirley ( as in surley you need this item) and i spent about $100........on paper stackers and the cropper hopper paper storage and matting materials........ i knew you guys would help me find a bright spot from this mess..!!!!!!!!!!!!!
