Re: need help with greeting cards

Hi Gina,

I used to be a SU demo but I never got into buying all the word stamps from them, mainly because I have 4 or 5 computer programs that will cover it.

If you are going to do quarter fold cards, you can print out the verses on your computer using the quarter fold template. Put the inside verse on page

1 (front cover) and then on page 3 (inside right side), that will print two cards on one piece of card stock.

I often cheat a bit and use one of the verses but change a word or two to make it more personal.

Which programs do you use? I only have the American Greetings CD Thanks for the tip. Your instructions on printing kind of have me confused. Im going to have to read it a few more times before I understand it, hopefully.

I have been making my own cards for several years and am a Stampin' Up! Fan. Many craft stores will have "sayings" stamps that you can purchase or "borrow". I have a cute stamp that reads "Cold Nose, Warm Heart"..and that was my saying along with Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. On the front of the card I stamped a snowman and then drew in a little glowing heart that I colored and sprinkled with SU's Dazzling Diamond powder. You can just pen inside "Merry Christmas" That will work as well. The craft stores are your best bet if you don't want to spend $25-30 dollars on a full SU set of stamps.

Good Luck! :) Brandi
