Re: OT:Grease Stain Removeale

I have one that works pretty well. Take some Dawn liquid dish soap and put on the stain then spray with, Shout or Spray N Wash and it should remove the stain. I do this all the time and it even works with set in grease stains.

Liquid dish soap gets it out the best. I've recently swore I'd quit trying things like "Spray N Wash" and the "Shout it out" stuff. They never work. Once I add a couple drops of dish soap (not dishwasher soap) add a few drops of water rub together to get the spot good and soapy throw in regular wash they come out. I've got 2 teenagers and I have to do this every week to their T-shirts. The dark ones seem to show the grease the worst. I've asked them if they need a bib. A grease stain now and then... I get those... every week... me thinks they need a bib.

A friend recently told me about the stain stick thing (I think it is made by Spray and Wash) and I have had tremendous success with it.

I have had great luck using Dawn dishsoap rubbed into the stain and leaving overnite or at least couple hours. I then add a scoop of that Oxyclean additive to the washer. I get really old grubby grease stains off of trucks sometimes!! I have also soaked items in coca-cola wit good results.
