Moebious with different colors [crochet] works very well

Jan 17, 2007 7 Replies

As i didn`t have enough wool for a moebious , to match Dauhter`s hat , and the color was varigated , dug into stash and added some Monochromatic threads that are included in the varigated and indeed it looks great [ and rather interesting ] to add a stripe [one row at a time and only the Middle `cast on rounds] doubled ... i take care that `change color point` is not too obvious ,,,, mirjam

It is pretty Coggie , i was concerned how the passing from color to color will look , but it smooth and doesn`t jump to the eye,,, Ps was in concert Yesternight and wore my own moebious , got several questions where to buy it ..... For me this is really the best ever shawl or wrap ,,,, i like it over my shoulders ,,, mirjam

This is a splendid idea! You know ME and coloures, I often find it boaring to knit with one yarn all the time. The challenge must be to get the coloures blend well! Aud ;-)

Can we have a picture Mirjam?

Shelagh

Hallo Aud , How is your weather , Tv tells us Horror stories about the storms you have in Europe , and it `feels` that it mooves our way ,,, Shoo shoo ,,,

Hahah Aud You and Colors , yes we know like me and the varigated ,,,, hahah Nice thing about making a 1 row in the moebious that it Authomaticly becomes 2 [ seprated ] lines that is reall one but viusually is 2 ,,, I thnk you will love this game , now promisr son another one [he has a blueish crochetred one thus his second will be a brownish knitted one , with loads of leftover browns ,,, mirjam

Weather is nice now, Mirjam, we had a storm last week, and the forecast says we'll get the bad weather in a day or two. But not so hard as last week. Today it has been so beautiful , (calm, snow all over and about 1*C) that it's difficult to believe that any storm ever can come here ;-)) Aud ;-)
