Recipe Swap Pages Received!

I just got them... OH MY!!!!! They are all so creative! However they are not all identified! So who made the Forgotten cookies, Coca Cola Cake and the Banana Tart ? Lynne, did you scan them all for the website or do you want me to do that? I won't of course put the page up until you say so!

Thanks to everyone who participated and thanks a bunch to Lynne for hosting!

I thought it looked awesome! And I liked that you even had the right font!Where did you get it? I'll add your info to the back so that I can remember down the road who the artist was that created it!

I noticed that they didn't all have names and in future swaps I'll encourage everyone to sign theirs. I just didn't have time to write the names on them like I've done in the past.

I know the Forgotten Cookies were done by my friend Marley Watters, who has aways wanted to join a swap. Coca Cola Cake is Jacqui and Banana Tart was done by Judy.

I haven't scanned them yet. If you have the capability you can, but I'd be glad to do it. I think we could put them up any time, but any one in the swap be warned it will spoil your surprise if you go look before you get your swap. :)

I got mine too! Ladies...thank you...they are wonderful! Lynne, I think you fuzzy bunny was made by Sabrina. Sandy, I just love your LO, which font did you use in the title? M-C, your cookie embellishments are too cute! Lynne, the yeast package shakers made me laugh. I heard them first, but NEVER would have thought to make into an embellishment. Very clever!!

I've been oogling over the LOs for 30 minutes...now I need to go drool over the recipes! LOL.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Lynne I do love the yeast shakers, too. That is a fuzzy monkey! LOL I write my name on the fronts of my pages because I want to see who did them when I make them from my recipe album. I leave them in the page protector and just take them out of my ring binder to use. I have so many new ones to try now! Thanks everybody! Barb, love the"sticky" blobs on your page!! too cute! I want to make the bread ,too..love the neat paper!

Thanks Sabrina! I sat there for a day and made all the little cOOkies and the big one at the bottom with acid free non bake clay! It was fun!

I told y'all that Kenda's page was real pretty! In fact I'm astounded at all the pages and the talent!

Lynne I've got to add that I thought that was the best bread I'd seen in a very long time! And those yeast packets. Did you make those?

Yes, I made the yeast packets. I originally was going to put one on the page. Then I noticed I had these tiny beads that reminded me of how yeast looked and sounded when in the packets. 3 packets is how it's sold here so decided to go with three. Rather than make a traditional see through shaker I thought I'd make them look and sound as much like the real thing. Decided to sew them closed to give them a little homey feel.

The bread title started out as chalked paper when I saw I had some textured paper that looked very much like bread colors. So, I made a pattern and started cutting. Then I realized I needed steam coming off the loaves to complete my vision. :) (damn those visions sometimes haha) I got some wire and started twisting and snipping.

I did 2 new techniques on this page... sewing and using wire. I've played with wire, but I don't think any of my creations have actually made it to a page.

The bread paper showed up at a huge LSS sale. I was digging through tons of paper when I came across 14 sheets of the bread paper. Perfect!

Thanks Sabrina *blush* I had a look on the website, and really everyone's pages looks wonderful. I feel mine are way to plain, but it's my first try, so it will hopefully improve.

Your page is beautiful! Goes to show what creative minds you all have. I went completely brain dead when I couldn't find anything related to bread for my potato bread page. The bread that's on the pages I made are two actually loaves of the potato bread that I took a picture of. After that I went brain dead. LOL Do you think I could find anything related to potatoes or bread in any LSS's?? No! All I could come up with was to cut the recipe out to look like a slice of bread. How sad is that? LOL
