Secret Handmade Santa opened

I got a lovely handmade album and some wonderful papers, stickers, rhinestones and tags to create LO's. The theme looks Asian and I got to thinking this might be a great way to do the Jessie challenge. I thought I knew who my Secret Santa was, but after a reexamination of the beautiful card enclosed it says "Guess who" and that I have one more surprise coming. Was the secret revealed in the gifts or is something else on it's way? This is one Super Sneaky Secret Santa.

Lynne, I have to stand forward and confess... I'm your secret santa and I'm glad you liked the stuff... I hope you can use it all! I was planning to send you another card, but I didn't have time to get to the postoffice again in time... so I'm afraid that's your lot for surprises! So did you guess it was me? (I thought the album would be a dead giveaway because it's the fourth one I've made the same way :P )

Hi Patti,

It's so nice to see you and Jessie becoming involved in RCS again. I've missed Jessie and I'm so grateful she has you to help her in any way. You are an angel.

You are in the right place to get Jessie started with digital scrapbooking. There are several people who do it on this list and can brain storm with you and Jessie should you have any questions. Unfortunately, it's not me. I haven't gotten into it... I should say yet. I'm sure I will try it out some day.

Hugs, Lynne

Welcome! It's great to see you both here... the good thing about digital scrapping is that if Jessie can manage to wield a mouse, she can do anything she likes - there are lots of neat sites to download stuff... I highly recommend photoshop for putting it all together - it's a lot more flexible than some of the other programs. There really isn't a lot to 'learn'. You download your page elements from various websites and open up a page in a graphics program, then start pasting stuff together and resizing bits as necessary. You can do a lot of fancier stuff, but plain old cut-and-paste works to begin with :)

I tried digital scrapping when I was moving out of home and had all my stuff packed away (and it was months until I could get it out again...) It looks good, but I went back to paper when I could :)

If you like, I can burn you a CD of all the digital embellishments etc that I downloaded for my digital scrapping - I've got a ton of them!

Patti! Jessie! So good to see you ladies! We've missed Jessie tons, and it's so wonderful of you to be willing to post for her. :-) I'm sure Jessie will be digi-scrapping in no time. I've heard it's quite easy and fun, too.
