Somebody stop me! ;-)

Y'all, I think I now have a full fledge scrapping addiction. I found a TON of stickers and embellishments at our local Dollar Tree store, and got about $75 worth!!! LOL. Don't tell my DH, okay?

Your secret is safe with me. My dollar store was almost out of scrapping supplies. That was a bummer. Lin

Hi, Im new to this group. Please forgive me if I make any mistakes while trying to figure out how this message board thing works.

I saw your message and wanted to let you know about a couple other places like the Dollar Tree (which I love) for scrapbook supplies. Dollar General also has a scrapbook section and so does Big Lots. A store I found yesterday called Fred's (It's a chain store) has some great scrapbook items. The selection is small but the items are really great and the prices were wonderful. They had these 3D frames in a package of 4 for 1.49. The sticker packages were 1.00 and that included the stickers that look like gel but were stiff. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips! I also hit the Big Lots store here this morning as well. Found some good stuff, stamps, some JoLee's stuff, etc.

We don't have Fred's but we do have a Dollar General down the street I'll have to look at.

Never would have thought of Fred's for scrapbook supplies. There's one eleven miles from my house. I'll have to check it out when I get a chance. Thanks for the tip. Sandy

Hi M-C,

My name is Lisa. I live outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I am married to a wonderful man named Brian. I have 5 children (only gave birth to the three girls, my son's came with my husband) and two grandchildren. Now onto the good stuff...Ive been scrapbooking for a little over a year. I made a scrapbook for my daughter on her 17th birthday. It was the first one I did and it went unappreciated. So now I make scrapbooks for me. I love shopping for scrapbook supplies. I actully spend more time shopping and organizing my scrapbook items then I do putting pages together. Right now I'm in the process of working on a Wedding scrapbook. I love Victorian scrapbook stuff. I have a question..can you take a iron-on decal that is made for fabric and use it on a piece of paper? I'd also like to add that I love your website and this message board is wonderful.

In a suburb just north of Dallas, not far from OK! :-)

Nope, won't work. I'm the one who goes gaga in Home Depot, Lowe's--

*sigh* and auto parts stores. :-) My DH is from India, and let me tell you, he makes Scrooge look like an angel when it comes to spending $$$$, LOL.

I got nuttin' to hold over his head--well, except when he buys cigarettes. That's his worst money-spending habit, dadgumit.

I'm also a sew-er (not the kind where rats live ;-) so I know about Joann's, etc. Just haven't had a chance to pop in there lately, what with the in-laws living with us for half a year (they do this periodically) and keeping busy with my 4 y/o daughter. :-) Now she's back in school part time, and I've got time to kill, finally. Yea!

Nothing coming from my direction, I assure you! :-)
