First, let me say that this is NOT directed at anybody and NOT meant to start a fight or anything. This is a TRUE "I've been wondering..." kind of thing. Having said that... I know we all enjoy scrapbooking, but thought that the main reason for doing it was for our future generations to know about us. Why then do I keep seeing layouts where there is a picture of 2 or 3 kids and a title that says something like "Dream..." then NO other writing on the page??? I don't get it. I LOVE the background and embellishments and know that it took forever to make, but what is the point if the people looking at the scrapbook have NO idea who those kids are, what was going on that day, why the picture was even taken or when it happened? I started wondering if these were a sort of title page and there is more afterward that explains everything. My pages are very plain and I squeeze in as much journaling as I can. I'm sure that my future generations will probably be saying, "Why did she put so few embellishments on the pages when so many were available?". LOL Cecelia
