Webpage Update

Thanks for all of your hard work M.C.

Everyone who has been posting for 3 or more months on a regular basis, meaning 2-3 posts per week can, if they so choose have their profile included on the website. The only exception would be returning regulars who posted for years, left and come back who had a profile on here before. But it isn't automatic. The person has to send me a profile. If your profile used to be on RCS and isn't, I apologize, it got gobbled up in cyberspace. When I took over the website, I wasn't given any of the files and had to actually grab things from the web, so some things probably got lost, though I did my best to copy and paste and save everything.

So MarcieI'd be happy to put up your profile if you send me the following.

- A picture of you or you and your family.

- The state and/or country you live in.

- Your birthday,

- A short paragraph or two about you. If you mention children, tell us the year they were born. That way your bio won't get stale so easily.

- The month and year that you first started posting to RCS,

- A link to where we can go and see your LOs.

- A link to 2-3 of your favorite places.

Remember, it is your responsibility to check your bio pages and let me know if something needs updating.

Also, while I put things up as fast as I can, I don't take people's profiles down as quickly and I never throw them away, I just break the links. I used to react to such a request right away, I've learned not to be so quick and besides puting up the profiles is fun and taking them down is something I find downright distressing. Like most people, I don't like doing things that upset me, so I wait until a week or two a person's next birthday to take thier profile down. Same way, if we haven't heard from someone who is listed on the website for a while (and yes I usually do a search to confirm that) and they don't respond to our birthday greetings, then I'll take them off the website, since we actually have a pretty big website! Would you believe that the RCS website directory on my hard drive has 1,905 files and

121 folders for a total 167MB of data! And yet there is always room for more friendly faces and more profiles and more awesome layouts. I love this group of talented ladies and gents!
