Funeral arrangements have been made for the death of a much beloved scrapbooking tool.
Kate's much beloved, and highly used, Xyron 500, passed away last night after 8 years of use.
It's last hurrah was while adding adhesive to the back of the a small piece of paper as it had during the course of many endless scrapbook photographs, embellishments, and cardstock pass throughs. It's lid refused to stay down and after several attempts to resucitate, it was meant to move on to bigger and better things.
Although it will be sorely missed, the memories it helped to create will live on. Taps will be played at 5:00 p.m. est followed by a moment of silence as it is put into the recycling bin.
Kate
PS any ideas what I should get now? 550 or 900?
