If anyone has the xyron design runner please give it a rating?~

Hi Everyone, I know that Cowchipper and Kate own the Xyron Design runner. Please let me know how you like it. I know when I had met Kate she said that she loved it. April do you feel the same way? What have you both printed with it (i.e.: Ribbon, twill, cardstock, Photo paper) etc. I am trying to justify the purchase to my Husband. I am sure it wouldn't be a problem but I am really wondering if it is going to be as useful as I think it would be. As if any of this makes Sense!! LOL Please post and let me know. I am keeping me eye on several on e-bay. I just saw it at a Demo at Michael's and it looks like something I could really use. Also, after printing with it is the ink wet? Could you put embossing powder over the ink immediately after printing?

I do enjoy mine when i get to use it. I haven't used it for a while. I don't know about the embossing but i would say no it won't work cause the ink is light and dries fast. There are 3 colors available last I checked. I have done it on cardboard, chipboard, paper and different ribbons. I don't suggest textured anything as the design will mess up. Practice on spare paper first before doing it on actual item.

I haven't used mine on anything yet although I did try to use embossing powder with it and it won't work because the ink dries immediately.

Hi,

I love mine because it saves space in my small craft area. I will say it took a good couple of tries to get the hang of it.

I've made a few cards with it.

Dorothy you are welcome to play with mine if you want to test run it first.

Out of 5 stars I give it 4.

Kate
