A very nice lady who once gifted me with a delightful Singer buttonholer has just given me her Bernina 1005 for use with the kids!
She's downsizing her sewing stuff, and as this machine has spent the last couple of years on loan to several folk and has a slightly dodgy foot pedal, she thought of me! I'm going to test it, test out the foot pedal (and DH Alan can take a look at that for me), and if all it needs is a new foot pedal (or this one cleaning out!), this will be another to add to the ever-growing collection!
I am truly blessed! She rang me at 4:30 and dropped the machine off at about quarter past five! :) 'Scuse me while I go and play...
