Ahh, Kate. You have soooo much talent! The bad guys had better watch out for that hat pin. Barbara in SC
Ah, pity the poor miscreant who tangles with out Kate wearing that hat and hatpin! Decorating the mask should be a ton-of-fun! And surely you will add some feathers? ;-)
Probably not to the mask, as I need to wear both my specs AND a hat with it!
I have been sharpening my teeth on the local planning committee today, and dreaming of Amazonian frogs and blow pipes. I may need the mask in Real Life soon!
Contact lenses!
ROTFLOL!!! Yeah, I can just imagine our Kate, taking on the local politicians with mask, hat pin, and scissors!
No way! Not now, not ever. Tried once, and never again.
Heheheh... Looks like the planning officer is going to recommend a course of action that is contrary to the word and spirit of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act of 1990 Section 66(1), Section 16(2), and Section 72, and also contrary to the Local Plan adopted in 2008 (policy number AAP5), and which will destroy a site of international historical interest that is on the World Monuments Fund
2010 list of historic sites at risk. As the proposed development is to be built on gardens, reclassified with immediate effect by Greg Clark on 9 June 2010 as greenfield sites rather than brownfield sites, and thus subject to much more stringent planning rules, it also runs counter to current government policy. This could be deeply embarrassing in a Conservative controlled council under the new Conservative/Lib Dem coalition government. I like stirring up the planning officer: he's a grade A pillock if he thinks this will slink through without being noticed when we have internationally respected historians, groups like the Georgian Society and the Spitalfields Trust, and other concerned parties scrutinizing his every breath.I have been asking Awkward Questions. And requiring written answers BEFORE the planning meeting next Thursday. My letters are going Registered so he cannot say he hasn't got them.
Good luck! Dealing with minor bureaucrats, ugh!
